IKEA Canada Black Friday 2026: What Last Year's Sale Tells Us
IKEA Canada's Black Friday page currently says only that the sale will return, so the 2026 details are not published. What we can describe is how last year's sale worked, which usually gives a fair picture. Black Friday is November 27, 2026.
Last year in short
- IKEA Canada's campaign page listed November 1 to 19, 2025, while another source mentioned the sale running through Cyber Monday, December 1. The two do not match, so the safest reading is that the dates were announced in stages.
- One Canadian report said selected products, including bed frames, mattresses, sofas, speakers and scented candles, were 15% off.
- The sale ran online and in store, and IKEA Family members, the free loyalty program, got access to some offers.
- Big discounts on a single product were also reported at over $500 off.
How IKEA's sales differ from others
IKEA also runs a spring sale called Hej Days, with its own discounts. Black Friday is not IKEA's only chance to cut prices, so waiting for November is not always required. If you need a bed or a sofa now, check the current "new lower price" labels on the website.
Preparing
- Join IKEA Family so member prices show in the cart.
- Measure the room and write the dimensions of the item.
- Check that the product is in stock at your store or available for delivery.
- Budget for delivery and assembly, since flat-pack furniture often needs both.
- Remember that mattresses come with a trial period, which you should read before you buy.
