Elite Cash and Carry Specials: The Cape Town Wholesaler's Leaflet to 16 November 2026

Quick answer: Elite Cash and Carry is a South African cash-and-carry wholesaler, and a catalogue aggregator lists its current leaflet as valid from 19 October to 16 November 2026 with 177 specials, including Henwil frozen deboned chicken breast pieces 1 kg at R59.99, Knorr salad dressing 340 ml at R29.99 and Oros ready-to-drink assorted 6 x 300 ml at R29.99. The aggregator shows one Elite store, in Cape Town, and links to elitecc.co.za for online shopping, rewards cards, payment options, click and collect and delivery. Those prices come from a third-party page, so confirm them with Elite.

Last updated: October 2026. Facts come from the cataloguespecials.co.za Elite Cash and Carry page, last updated 20 October 2026. The page did not mention Elite Foodtown, which is a separate community supermarket in Athlone, Cape Town according to its Facebook page, so we do not merge the two businesses.

Elite Cash and Carry versus Elite Foodtown

' ' ' ' ' ' '

Name	What public sources say
Elite Cash and Carry	Cash-and-carry wholesaler; Cape Town location on the aggregator; website elitecc.co.za
Elite Foodtown	A community supermarket in Athlone, Cape Town, per its Facebook page; we found no specials

'

The names are similar, but nothing we found says the two are the same company. If you are searching for a particular store, check the exact name and address.

The current leaflet

Item	Listed price	Per unit (our calculation)
Henwil Frozen Chicken Deboned Breast Pieces 1 kg	R59.99	R59.99 per kg
Knorr Salad Dressing 340 ml	R29.99	About R8.82 per 100 ml
Oros Ready To Drink Assorted 6 x 300 ml	R29.99	About R1.67 per 100 ml (1.8 L total)

'

The aggregator lists 177 specials in one catalogue valid from 19 October to 16 November 2026, and it also names Cadbury chocolate large bars, Lausanne buttermilk and Oakland fresh cream without showing prices. The earlier Elite catalogue on the same site covered 21 September to 11 October 2026 and has expired. Note that the aggregator's coloured price tags for Coca-Cola Light belong to an app illustration, not to Elite.

How to use a cash-and-carry leaflet

'

'
1. Check the dates. This leaflet ends on 16 November 2026, so it will not cover Black Friday on 27 November.
'
2. Check the minimum quantities. Wholesale offers sometimes apply to cartons or multi-packs.
'
3. Check whether you need a card or account. Elite's website mentions rewards cards, so ask about membership.
'
4. Compare the unit price. Divide the price by the weight or volume.
'
5. Check click and collect and delivery. They can save you a trip.
'

' '

Worked example: is a 1 kg bag of frozen chicken breast a good price?

'

At the listed R59.99 per kilogram, a 5 kg order of the same product would cost about R300 if the price held. The numbers below are invented comparisons for the method, not real competitor prices.

' ' ' ' ' ' ' '

Option (comparison invented)	Price per kg	5 kg cost
Elite listed price	R59.99	R299.95
Hypothetical supermarket price	R79.99	R399.95
Hypothetical butcher fresh breast	R99.00	R495.00

'

If the hypothetical supermarket price were real, buying 5 kg at Elite would save about R100. Check the actual prices at the stores near you.
