Our approach
CatalogueThisWeek displays leaflets that retailers publish for the public. We respect intellectual property rights and act quickly when a rights holder or a retailer asks us to correct, update or remove a flyer, a page or an image.
How to submit a notice
Send your request through the contact page and include the following information:
- The exact address (URL) of the page or image on cataloguethisweek.com that you want removed or corrected.
- A description of the work you own or represent, and proof that you are the rights holder or authorised to act for them (for example a company e-mail address and your role).
- Your full name, company, postal address, telephone number and e-mail address.
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use is not authorised by the rights holder, its agent or the law.
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the rights holder or authorised to act on their behalf, followed by your electronic or physical signature.
What happens next
We review complete notices within 24 to 48 business hours. If the notice is valid we remove or disable access to the material, and we may forward your notice to the person who submitted the content. Retailers who simply want a flyer updated or taken down do not need to use a formal notice: a short message from a company address is enough.
Counter-notice and misuse
If you believe material was removed by mistake, you can send a counter-notice through the contact page with the same identification details and a statement of good faith. Knowingly submitting false notices can have legal consequences.
