Mark & Save in Saudi Arabia: a value hyperstore and how its offers work
Who is behind the chain
Mark & Save is a younger name than most retailers in the Kingdom. It was launched in May 2022 by Western International Group, a Gulf trading group with interests in retail, electronics, appliances and consumer goods. The same group runs the Nesto hypermarkets, and together the two brands account for a retail network of well over a hundred stores in the GCC. The pitch of Mark & Save is a large-format store for bargain-minded families, summed up by the group as affordable luxury.
Five countries are named in the company's own releases: the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Oman, Kuwait and Qatar. The Qatar store opened at the end of 2025 was described as the twentieth in the region, and a Dubai opening in 2026 was called the twenty-third, so the chain has been growing quickly. In the Saudi market it is still compact. Whoever types mark & save hypermarket into a search bar will find a handful of branches, not a nationwide network.
On this site the chain sits in Other, together with Nesto, Lulu and Centro. The Saudi Arabia hub shows how it compares with other Saudi names.
Where the branches are and what you find inside
The Saudi section of the official website lists four branches. Two are in Riyadh: one on Khurais Road in Al Andalus, and one at Flamingo Park in the Shubra area, which is what people mean when they search for mark & save flamingo riyadh. The others are in Al Khobar, on Prince Turkey Street in the Al Sahil district, and in Al Hofuf in Al Ahsa, in Al Salmaniyah North. So mark & save riyadh and mark & save khobar both lead to real addresses. Jeddah appears in some deal aggregators, but the official list does not show a Jeddah branch, so we do not claim one.
Inside, the format is closer to a warehouse-style hyperstore than to a neighbourhood grocer. The group describes shelves with groceries, fresh food, household essentials, electronics, fashion and other non-food goods under one roof, and says it buys in bulk directly from factories in several countries. Shoppers who review the Riyadh branch online mention low prices, a broad mix of household goods, clothing and electronics, and frequent promotions. Some also complain about service and about prices at the till that did not match the shelf tag.
The chain has a rewards programme, called We Rewards on the Saudi site. If loyalty matters to you, compare it with the schemes at Carrefour, Al Raya, Tamimi Markets or Dukan before you commit to one trolley.
Reading the offers before you drive over
Searches such as mark & save offers, mark & save offers today and mark & save near me all come down to one habit: check the dated catalogue first. Third-party catalogue sites list the Saudi pages by branch, for instance the Al Andalus district in Riyadh, Al Sahil in Khobar and Al Salmaniyah in Al Ahsa, and each catalogue carries its own start and end date. That is why a mark & save promotion advertised in one city does not automatically apply in another.
Our Mark & Save page follows the same logic. The current edition has 4 pages and is valid from 17.10.2026 to 31.10.2026. When you open it, look at the small print: shoppers have mentioned minimum-purchase conditions attached to some deals, so confirm them before you plan the whole basket around a headline. We show no riyal amounts, because they differ by branch and change quickly. For opening times, use the official store list, since they can vary and shift around Ramadan and public holidays.
If you want a second opinion, put the same shopping list next to Hyper Panda, SACO or A Market, and look at Other for stores with a different range. Comparing three catalogues for the same week usually takes five minutes and shows which basket is worth the trip.
