SACO in Saudi Arabia: hardware, home and garden offers explained

Who SACO is and where it operates

SACO is the short name of the Saudi Company for Hardware, a home improvement retailer headquartered in Riyadh. Sources give slightly different starting years: the commercial registration is dated 1984, while some profiles say 1985, so the safest description is a business from the mid-1980s. It began with one shop in Riyadh, later became a joint-stock company, and has been listed on the Saudi stock exchange since 2015 under the symbol 4008. Suggestions such as sacoor brothers or saco weather point to unrelated names, so this page covers only the hardware chain that shoppers in the Saudi Arabia section of our site mean when they type saco ksa.

Store counts depend on the source and the date. A Saudi encyclopedia page lists 35 stores in 19 cities, Wikipedia mentions 34 stores in 18 cities, and a report on the third quarter of 2025 quotes the CEO with 33 branches. Treat it as roughly three dozen locations and confirm the nearest one in the store finder when you search saco near me. Five stores carry the SACO World name and are the large formats: the first opened in Riyadh in 2004, a second followed in Jeddah in 2010, and a big superstore in Dhahran came a year later. For household basics see Carrefour, for furniture IKEA, and for everything else the Other hub.

What you can buy and how the services work

The range is wider than the word hardware suggests. The company describes more than 45,000 items, grouped in departments for tools and hardware, outdoor and garden, home essentials, home improvement, automotive, electronics, and sports, fitness and toys. Inside those you find hand tools and power tools, plumbing and adhesives, construction supplies, pool and water products, home appliances and tech gadgets. For electronics specifically, it is worth putting eXtra next to SACO when you compare, because both are specialist chains with their own departments.

Three services matter once the box is too big to carry: delivery with assembly, installation, and warranty with maintenance. Ask at the branch or at checkout which of these applies to the exact product, since the terms differ by item. Online, the company runs a website and a shopping app for Android and iOS, built with an omnichannel idea so a basket looks the same across devices. The app listing describes browsing, paying in the app, choosing home delivery or in-store collection, following offers and tracking loyalty points. For groceries and fresh food you will need a different shop, for example Lulu or Nesto, and for decoration ideas Centro is another name worth opening.

Reading the weekly SACO offers

The current catalogue has 6 pages and runs from 24.10.2026 to 31.10.2026. SACO leaflets usually appear on Tuesday and stay valid for around 19 days, which means saco offers today on this page are the same ones you will see in the branch window. Note the model name rather than only the picture, because a banner like saco sale or saco mega sale may cover only some sizes or colours. If you want the tools section only, searching saco tools sale will lead you to the same pages in a faster way.

Check the wording for saco offers riyadh and saco offers jeddah separately, and compare it with what the app shows for delivery to your address, because the leaflet cannot tell you everything about stock in one branch. Campaigns around Ramadan and National Day are a good moment to compare several chains, for example Hyper Panda and Tamimi Markets for household items, or other pages in Other and the Saudi Arabia hub. Write the riyal price from the leaflet next to the one in the shop before you decide, and keep the receipt for warranty claims. Hours vary by branch, so use the official store finder instead of trusting a list.
